The Issaquah Schools Foundation has announced the receipt of a $5,000 grant from Wells Fargo in support of the VOICE Mentoring Program. The grant is given in recognition of the vital community need addressed by the VOICE Program and in honor of the leadership role that Wells Fargo team member Gloria Nemechek plays as a member of the Issaquah Schools Foundation Board of Directors.

Housing activity for Northwest Multiple Listing Service members was disappointing last month, but not surprising, according to one industry executive. He and other representatives of the Northwest’s largest MLS believe the situation is improving.

Lake Washington Technical College (LWTC) recently opened a new electronics training facility at its Kirkland campus that features some of the most advanced electronics training equipment and software in the region. The newly renovated and upgraded facility was developed through LWTC’s partnerships with two electronics industry leaders, ED Co., Ltd. and Mentor Graphics.
